USA – Organisers of Star Wars Celebration V, Reed Pop, has released a warning to all visitors that unofficial companies are posing as the operators of the official Star Wars Celebration travel desk.
A news alert warns all visitors to book hotel rooms with onPeak, the official housing partner for the event, to guarantee the lowest possible room rates.
“Our priority is to provide the lowest possible hotel rates available to visitors during their stay in Orlando. We implore people to look for the official logo of our exclusive housing partner onPeak before making any reservations,” a spokesperson from Reed Pop stated.
Reed Pop has also announced that Star Wars creator George Lucas will attend the exhibition, and be involved in a one-hour interview with comedian Jon Stewart, discussing the films and the future of the movie franchise.
Star Wars Celebration V takes place in a galaxy not so far, far away on 12 – 15 August at the Orange County Convention Centre, Orlando.
