TEA EXPO BAGS NEW FORMAT AFTER FIRST DECADE

Tea Expo RESIZED

AMERICAS – The World Tea Expo in Las Vegas is going after new content, as it celebrates its first decade.

The B2B event, organised by World Tea Media, a division of F+W Media, presents new products from the tea marketplace. The conference and trade show will run on 1-3 June at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event provides a platform for more than 200 tea and tea-related exhibitors.

This year the World Tea Expo is promoting a new ‘No Repeat’ policy for more than 40 educational seminars, skill-building workshops, technical sessions and tastings. The organiser hopes this will take the 2012 curriculum into new territory and reveal topics not explored at previous events. This will be complemented by a new layout on the showfloor.

Visitors to the event are invited to try the newest teas from around the world, and evaluate retail items from tea ware manufacturers, baked-goods suppliers, innovative tea product makers and specialist accessory and gift dealers.

More than 4,500 visitors are expected to attend the event this year. In the last 10 years 33,000 people have attended the World Tea Expo, to meet with more than 1,700 tea and related product suppliers.
