DOCUgroup sold to Infopro Digital World

Arma Partners, the M&A advisory firm focused on the communications, media and technology sector, has advised DOCUgroup, the provider of B2B information to the construction industry in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, on its sale to Infopro Digital.

Infopro Digital is billed as one of the largest B2B information services and events groups in Europe.

The deal follows Infopro Digital’s acquisition of Incisive Insight last year, on which Arma also advised, and will provide Infopro with the platform to both build its presence as a supplier of workflow-critical data and information to the architecture, construction and real estate industries, and expand its established offering in other sectors into the DACH market.

The deal exemplifies the active M&A environment and attractive exit market for investors in the B2B information services and events sector.

As the sales of DOCUgroup and Incisive Insight, Arma has previously advised on the sales of Clarion Events to Providence Equity Partners, Zawya to Thomson Reuters, and Cadis to Markit (now IHS Markit).
