In light of the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that has struck Mexico City and surrounding states on 19 September, FESPA took the decision to postpone the exhibition.

The earthquake struck shortly after 13.00 (CDT) local time, causing buildings to collapse onto streets in the capital, Mexico City, and surrounding areas.

FESPA and the collaboration of its exhibitors decided that its 10th edition of FESPA Mexico will be postponed, with dates to be confirmed soon.

Neil Felton, CEO, FESPA said: “This decision has been taken, not only to respect the City of Mexico, but to also ensure the safety of all visitors and exhibitors. We want to thank all our stakeholders for their understanding, and send our sincere condolences to the Mexican people and wish them strength to overcome this difficult period."
