Jamaica Tourist board prepares for JTM Americas

The Jamaica Tourist Board has told EW’s sister title EN that it is preparing the second edition of Jamaica Travel Market (JTM).

The two-day B2B trade show is focused solely on the Caribbean island and will provide a B2B platform for British, Irish and Nordic tour operators and agents to meet with Jamaican suppliers directly.

Edmund Bartlett, Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, will take the opportunity to meet with top tour operators in the UK to share information about resort developments and new offerings.

The programme includes a day and a half of business appointments, destination updates and a Gala Awards Dinner.

Last year’s trade show attracted over 100 travel professionals, including UK and European buyers representing airlines, tour operators and travel agencies.

Jamaica Travel Market is scheduled on 28 September at the Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa.
