ibtm events, part of global exhibitions organiser Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has released the final programme for ibtm america 2017, which takes place from 14-16 June at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The programme will focus on educating and inspiring the industry, with a full schedule of events taking place at the event’s Central Hub and via the Knowledge Programme, including the keynote speech from author and communications expert, Tim David, who will deliver his session on the Magic of Human Connection – a Dying Art in a Digital World.

The session will reveal David’s thoughts on the positive impact that rekindling the ‘spoken dialogue’ can have in the workplace and in building long-term, successful business relationships.

Jaime McAuley, event director – ibtm america, said: “We are always looking to enhance the experience for our attendees, so that we continue to deliver an unmissable event. This year’s event in South Florida, promises to be another great success. Against the fantastic backdrop of newly refurbished The Diplomat Beach Resort, we have a packed itinerary for exhibitors and Hosted Buyers.

“Alongside all of their pre-planned one-to-one meetings they’ll be able to learn about some of the cutting edge technology emerging in our industry and connect with delegates at a series of fun and inspiring networking events, including a networking brunch, tapas and wine break, and our renowned White Party brought to you by the Diplomat Beach Resort, held on the last night of the event.

“We’ll also be inviting our attendees to help us support this year’s charity Clean the World; a fantastic foundation supporting local South Florida charity The Homeless Voice. Over lunch our delegates will create hygiene kits with unused hotel products which will help to improve health and save the lives of people in local communities.”

At the heart of ibtm america is the Central Hub, a space that provides an opportunity for delegates to learn about trends, discover the latest technology, relax and network.

Also taking place at the Central Hub will be Tech Tours; bite-sized tours of the start-up companies featured in the Tech Collective area, as well as the EventTech Pitch Competition; a competition in which five technology based exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase and pitch their products to the team of independent judges.

This year’s Tech Collective are Cendyn, Hubb, Feathr, Bizly, Gruupmeet, Glisser and SpotMe. Also in attendance will be Poken, providing Real-Time touchpoints to exchange digital business cards and information. .

Central Hub partners are Garrett Popcorn, Chuck Fazio’s Headshot Lounge brought to you by Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau, Tired Soles posture Consulting, Photoboxx, doTERRA and the Dahlia+ team managing the TechBar.
