Adelaide Venue Management appoints general manager

South Australian events industry leader Coralie Cheney has joined Adelaide Venue Management as general manager – functions & business events.

Coral has more than 15 years’ experience in event management and venue marketing, including nine years at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre as Sales and Marketing Manager.

Her experience will play a key role in the continued development and growth of venues operated by Adelaide Venue Management, which include the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium.

Adelaide Venue Management chief executive Anthony Kirchner said he was delighted to attract someone of Coralie’s calibre to the role. “Her strong client management skills, proven sales ability and attention to detail will be invaluable as our venues continue to grow," he said.

Coralie joins as a $400m expansion of the Adelaide Convention Centre is set to be completed next year.
