Mack Brooks Exhibitions’s international exhibition for airport equipment, technology, design and services, inter airport Europe, celebrated its 20th edition with a seven per cent increase in visitors.
Held on 6-9 October at the Munich Trade Fair, Germany, the show reported 12,706 trade visitors from 110 countries and a total of 676 exhibitors.
The organiser also revealed its exhibitor numbers and floor space increased by 5.5 per cent each, compared with the previous event in 2013.
Nicola Hamann, Mack Brooks Exhibitions MD said: “A first analysis of the exhibitor feedback shows that participating companies were highly satisfied with the outcome of inter airport Europe 2015.
“A vast majority of exhibitors were able to reach their target groups; they praised the high quality of trade visitors. Exhibitors told us about a large number of business contacts and positive sales figures.”
According to Mack Brooks Exhibitions, the successful outcome of the exhibition reflects the economic situation of the industry sector.
“Many exhibitors had presented themselves this year with even more impressive stands. They showcased an enormous variety of new products and innovative solutions, and made this exhibition, once again, a magnet for specialists of the airport industry from all over the world. We would like to thank all exhibitors and visitors for this highly successful 20th anniversary edition of inter airport Europe.”
The 21st inter airport Europe will take place from 10 to 13 October 2017 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany.
Also in the inter airport event series, inter airport China will take place on 12-14 September 2016 at the China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing, while the next inter airport South East Asia will be held on 15-17 February 2017 at Singapore EXPO in Singapore.
