GERMANY - Messe Cologne is a launching an international kitchen event in January 2011 aimed at both business and consumers.
LivingKitchen will premiere next year offering a forum for the kitchen trade, including hobby cooks, gourmands, technology fans and interior design lovers.
The trade fair will take place on 18-23 January, in parallel with the established IMM Cologne furniture industry event.
Ninety companies have guaranteed their attendance to date, according to Messe Cologne.
"Our target of hosting the first LivingKitchen with around 80 companies has already been exceeded,” chairman of the board of Koelnmesse, Gerald Böse. “And we still have more than seven months to go before the trade fair opens its doors. I am absolutely certain that all the major international industry players will be in Cologne in January 2011."
