Singapore Expo opens doors to future tech

SINGAPORE - Asia’s one-stop communications and ICT event returns to Singapore next week, bringing 54,000 visitors in the telecoms, digital and interactive media marketplace to Singapore Expo.

CommunicAsia, which also incorporates BroadcastAsia, EnterpriseIT and InteractiveDME, spans 58,000sqm and features around 2,000 exhibitors from 57 countries.

This year’s event will feature 24 group pavilions, including new entrants from Bangladesh, India and South Korea.

Business deals worth as much as US$3.6bn are expected to be secured at the event, which is now in its 21st year.

BroadcastAsia offers the latest offerings in animation, radio and television broadcasting, as well as film production, computer graphics and mobile entertainment arenas. EnterpriseIT showcases technology innovation in the ICT industry, while InteractiveDME brings together equipment and technologies for the broadcasting, communications, digital media and entertainment industries.

Both CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia will present increased conference components this year.
