US company launches lead retrieval iPhone App

USA – Illinois-based CompuSystems has developed a new software application for Apple’s iPhone that it claims will help exhibitors capture sales leads.

Exhibitors with iPhones and the CompuLead Smart App can enter a seven digit number found on attendee badges, or the attendee’s e-mail address, to receive that individual’s full contact information.

The contact record can then be edited using the iPhone’s keyboard. Leads can also be qualified with such information as survey questions, and the data can be edited or added as the users see necessary.

The application removes the need to scan barcodes.

“Because exhibitors use their own iPhone, they can retrieve their leads anywhere and any time; on the show floor, at a social event or in an airport,” said CompuSystems senior VP of sales, Chris Williams. “It’s the most powerful and easiest way to capture and qualify leads on an exhibit hall floor.”
