USA – The Photo Marketing Association (PMA) is moving its annual trade show and conference from Anaheim to Las Vegas, and will take place in September instead of February.
Whereas the February show competes with the Consumer Electronics Show, the September dates will put the show at the beginning of the holiday shopping season.
Executive director and CEO of PMA, Ted Fox, says: “Based on input from key suppliers and trade groups, the PMA show is changing dates to better serve the photo industry.”
President of PMA International 2010-11, Brian Wood, says: “Having the PMA 2011 show on the leading edge of the holiday season is the best opportunity to make critical buying decisions for the fourth quarter.
PMA 2011 will consist of an exhibition from 8 to 10 September and a conference from 6 to 10 September, and will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
