Quebecois expo companies join hands

CANADA - The Québec City Convention Centre is joining forces with Québéc exhibition venue ExpoCité to offer a unified exhibition and meeting solution.

The 61,000sqm exhibition space offers room for 6,500 delegates with an 850-stand exhibition or 18,500 delegates without exhibitions.

The CEO of Québec City Convention Centre, Michel Bouchard, said both venues will work closely to offer a “facilitating” approach that encompasses both meetings and exhibitions, meaning event planners can now rent space in both venues in one easy, a “turnkey” solution.

“We decided to develop this partnership with ExpoCité to welcome larger events in Québec City. From an eco-conscious mentality to a booming economy, Québec has much to offer event planners and business travellers. We wanted to facilitate our customers’ life,” said Bouchard.

In total, the venues now offer 90,000sqm of exhibition space and 30,000sqm of meeting and breakout space.
