UK - AEG Europe has promoted Sally Davies to the position of venue director for the O2 Arena in London.
Davies gains overall responsibility for the success of the arena, as well as its operations, sales, technical, ticketing and marketing strategies. She was previously the general manager for Indigo2 and the O2 Bubble.
“Davies has proved herself constantly during her time at AEG, making successes of both indigO2 and our exhibition space,” says AEG Europe president and CEO, David Campbell.
In further management moves, Paul Newman will head up the O2’s entertainment and music sales, with Emma Bownes joining Newman as sales manager. Bownes joins the team after three years at Wembley Arena.
