UAE - The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has announced the renaming of its largest events space from Hall 12 to Abu Dhabi Hall, recognising it as the capital’s largest indoor public events venue.
The announcement was made on the opening day of the Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings (GIBTM) exhibition at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, 29-31 March 2010.
The first event at the renamed venue will be Welsh singer Tom Jones on 16 April.
Before the name change, Hall 12 hosted the conference component of the World Future Energy Summit 2010, the Sheikh Zayed Book Awards and several royal weddings.
The hall can host 6,000 seated and 8,000 standing.
