SPAIN - Feria Madrid (Ifema) and Messe Frankfurt are co-organising a motoring after-sales trade fair in Madrid at the end of March 2011.
The exhibition, titled Motortec Automechanika Ibérica, is hoped to bring countries from North Africa and Latin America together on the Iberian Peninsula.
Automechanika brand manager, Stephan Kurzawski, said that the joint venture will result in “a sustainable and high-quality event for the industry in Southern Europe". His counterpart, chairman of the Ifema executive committee Luis Eduardo Cortés, said conversations between the two organisers have resulted in a satisfactory agreement "for both sides and for the industry”.
The event will take place between 29 March and 2 April 2011.
